Just months after turning 40, Da LES โ real name Leslie Mampe โ has given his followers a look at his rehabilitation after suffering a stroke last year.
The South African rapper suffered aย health scare on his 39th birthdayย in July 2024.
The โNorth Godโ hitmaker is best known for all-white star-studded parties hosted at his Bryanston mansion.
DA LES SHARES HEALTH UPDATE
In a TikTok video, Da LES shared a look at his physical therapy treatment.
In the clip, the 40-year-old revealed how he was learning to walk, assisted by an aide.
โMy kind of therapyโ, the rapper captioned the clip.
Mampe is currently in the US, where he is reportedly living under the care of his mother.
โIT CAN HAPPEN TO ANYBODYโ
In June, Da LES broke his silence about his experience of suffering and recovering from a stroke in a video posted on his YouTube account.
The clip featured unseen footage of the โNorth Godโ rapper unconscious in a hospital bed, as well as clips of him learning how to become mobile again.
โPeople thought I was going to die, but I made itโ, he said.
Da LES added that he was sharing his story to โhelpโ others.
โS**tโs real. It can happen to anybody. One minute youโre cool like me. The next, you experience the worst. I feel like my life has changed. But it ainโt the end. This is bigger than me.โ

Da LES recounted how he had a stroke on his 39th birthday and woke up in the hospital a month later.
He added: โItโs nothing that you can control. Iโm just lucky to be aliveโ.
