Thato reluctantly agrees to do the designs for the competition for Mampho after she promises that if she wins, he also stands to benefit.

Shoki and Nkosi’s intimate moment is interrupted by a call from Palesa which freaks Nkosi out and kills the mood for him. Later, Nkosi is shocked to arrive home from work to find Palesa chatting with Shoki.

As an anxious Nkosi worries about what Palesa might have told Shoki about their affair, a cunning Palesa uses the opportunity to subtly rattle him before leaving.

Things threaten to fall apart for Nkosi when, after telling Palesa to back off, she decides to kiss him instead. However, Ona walks in on them and witnesses the shocking moment.

Palesa is left fuming after Nkosi makes it clear, he will never leave Shoki for her. Later, he pleads with Ona not to tell Shoki about him and Palesa, but Ona gives him an ultimatum: if he doesn’t tell Shoki, she will.

Nkosi finds himself under pressure as Palesa urges him to leave Shoki for her. However, she is left fuming when he makes it clear that he will never leave his wife for her.

Nkosi confirms he slept with Palesa and apologises to Shoki, saying it was a mistake. But a furious and hurt Shoki refuses to forgive him and moves out to stay with the Molapos.

Shoki’s left feeling betrayed when Ona admits she knew about Nkosi and Palesa’s affair and that she was hoping Nkosi would tell Shoki himself.

A guilt-stricken Nkosi then tries to rope Ona in on getting Palesa out of the collective but Ona refuses on the grounds that they don’t have just cause and the move could backfire on them.

Despite Nkosi’s pleas, Shoki makes it clear that their marriage is over, and she intends to tell Faith. However, unable to withstand her anger, Shoki reveals to the family that Nkosi cheated on her.

Faith urges Shoki to forgive Nkosi, but Shoki feels his betrayal of her is too much and she doesn’t know the way forward for them.

Soka reaches out to Shoki, and she admits being devasted by Nkosi’s affair. Accompanied by Sandile, an upset Soka then sets off for the car wash to confront Nkosi for cheating on Shoki.

Shoki learns with shock about the fight between Soka and Nkosi and she urges Soka not to fight her battles for her. But Soka is put off by her concern for Nkosi’s well-being and worries that she’s contemplating taking him back.

After Shoki agrees to talk things over with Nkosi over dinner, he is left feeling hopeful that he and Shoki can work on fixing their marriage.

Nkosi struggles to come to terms with Shoki wanting a divorce and Faith urges him to man up and find a way to win Shoki back.

With Shoki on the verge of leaving him, a desperate Nkosi pleads with Soka to help bring Shoki’s family over so they can help him fix his marriage.

Shoki’s family tries to persuade her to fix things with Nkosi, but she is adamant that the marriage is irrevocably broken. But after talking with Soka, she later announces that she’s putting the brakes on divorcing Nkosi.

The Molapos pray for Molefe’s recovery at the hospital while Dorothy, fearing the worst, leaves for the hospital with Rea so that he can see his father for the last time in case he doesn’t make it.

Nkosi is left pained but nonetheless understands when, despite reconciling with him, Shoki still finds it hard to be intimate with him.

While spending time with Pearl at the Zwide mansion, Msizi gets an unexpected call from Harriet asking to see him as a matter of urgency.

Pearl convinces Msizi to pay Ayanda’s fees, arguing that he shouldn’t punish his daughter to prove a point to Harriet. Harriet is later surprised and delighted when Msizi agrees to pay Ayanda’s fees without any conditions.

Ona is thrilled when she receives a call from Laz, informing her that she may be right about Mampho using Thato’s designs to get into collective as well as win the design competition.
