Coach Ouaddou is expected to arrive in South Africa later this week.

He is going to be assisted by Mandla Ncikazi and Rayaan Jacobs, Helmi Gueldich and Tyron Damons.
Ouaddou to Lead Pre-Season Camp in Spain
The announcement of Abdeslam Ouaddouโs appointment as Orlando Pirates head coach comes just weeks before the club departs for its pre-season training camp in Spain. It will be Ouaddouโs first opportunity to take charge of the Buccaneers as preparations begin for the upcoming campaign.
A Former International Defender with European Pedigree
Born in Alnif, Morocco, the 46-year-old Ouaddou is a UEFA Pro Licence holder and brings with him a wealth of experience both on and off the field.
A former Moroccan international and captain, he earned 68 caps for the Atlas Lions and played top-flight football in several leading European leagues.
Described as a tactician with a deep understanding of the game, Ouaddou is known for his leadership and calm presence โ attributes the Buccaneers hope will steer them to new success.
Ouaddouโs most recent role was at Marumo Gallants, where he took over during a turbulent 2024/25 season.
Despite the challenges, he guided the club to a 10th-place finish in the Betway Premiership, helping them avoid relegation. His 12-match tenure included 5 wins, 4 draws, and 3 losses.
