TV personality and Real Housewives of Durban star Jojo (38) has opened up in an

emotional Instagram post about the heartbreaking end of her friendship with co-star Nonku (45).

After months of growing tension between the two on RHOD Season 5 (2025), Jojo finally broke her silence.

She recently penned a raw and tearful message that brought fans of the once- unbreakable duo “Joku” to tears.

“The way I’ve avoided this post, but it’s gotten to a point where I just want to address it,” she said.

Jojo, who is known for her bold personality and outspoken presence on the reality show, admitted she struggled watching fans dismiss their friendship as fake.

“Seeing comments on social media saying this friendship didn’t matter, that it was just for work, is really hard to see. It was real and filled with love and sisterhood,” she said.

In the open letter addressed to “Nonkie Nonks,” Jojo expressed love, gratitude, and a quiet farewell.

“I hope you find peace and love with whoever you choose in this life. I loved every second we spent together and I’m forever grateful for the friendship we shared,” she said.

“I understand now… and I’m okay. I forgive you and I’m also sorry for any part I played that upset you.”

The pair had become one of the most loved friendships on the show, affectionately dubbed “Joku” by fans.

However, cracks began to show during the latest season, as viewers picked up on emotional distance and frequent disagreements.

What started as subtle tension turned into an obvious fallout, with the final episode revealing just how far apart the two had grown.

In her post, Jojo made it clear that while she respects Nonku’s journey, she accepts that the friendship might have run its course.

“Maybe it’s time for us to start our journey as just Nonku and Jojo, not Joku anymore,” she said.

While Jojo was grappling with the emotional end of the friendship, Nonku has since found a new sense of peace and companionship with another cast member, Beverley Steyn (52).

The businesswoman and reality TV star revealed that her friendship with Bev, whom she met in Jamaica, is rooted in their shared Christian faith.

“When I discovered we shared deep faith, our bond grew stronger,” said Nonku.

“We speak every day, pray together, and share each other’s joys and struggles. She’s more than just a friend. She’s a sister in Christ who understands me in a way that few others can.”
