Springbok coach Rassie Erasmus has shared a sweet message with the women of South Africa during Women’s Month. In it, the rugby hero paid tribute to the Women’s Rugby squad, and other special leading ladies in his life.

RASSIE ERASMUS PRAISES WOMEN OF SA

In light of Women’s Month, Rassie Erasmus praised South African women for their unwavering support. He also showed love to the SA female rugby squad.

He said: “Please know that we always appreciate you, especially our women [Women’s Springboks] who are playing in the World Cup this year.

“We are nothing without you”, he added.

WHO ARE THE WOMEN IN HIS LIFE?

Behind Springbok coach Rassie Erasmus, are several strong women.

They include his ex-wife, Nicolene Erasmus, a former nurse, with whom he actively co-parents. He has three daughters: twins Nikki and Carli, and his youngest, Janie.

The twins are students of the University of Stellenbosch and also coach netball. Nikki is a rugby WAG, dating Stormers player Andre-Hugo Venter, whose dad was also a Springbok.
