The Mommy Club’s Ratile hit by death of her kid’s father

Star of The Mommy Club, Ratile Mabitsela, has lost her children’s father, Elias Lehlogonolo Mabitsela, who died this week.

Ratile is “dealing with shock” after hearing about the death of her estranged partner.

The news came just days after she threw a party for their twins’ seventh birthday.

The Mabitsela family broke the news on social media but did not say how Elias died.

Some people on social media claim he took his own life, but the family has not confirmed this.

Ratile’s manager, Elizabeth Pooe, told TshisaLIVE: “She is mourning and dealing with the shock of the death.”

The couple were splitting up when Elias died. There had been talk that their relationship was in trouble, with claims that Elias had been abusive. He denied this.

“No divorce was taking place,” Elias said in a statement before his death, asking for privacy.

Some people on social media were angry that the family’s death notice did not mention that Elias was a father and partner. Others hoped the couple were still married when he died.

The family has asked for time alone to deal with their loss.
