In a powerful move following the heartbreaking loss of young Joslin, Gayton McKenzie has officially launched the Joslin Foundationโdedicated to supporting her grieving siblings and keeping her memory alive. What started as a national tragedy has turned into a mission of hope. McKenzie, deeply touched by Joslin’s story, declared that her siblings would never have to suffer alone or in silence. The foundation aims to provide education, care, and stability for the children left behind, as the country watches with hope that Joslinโs legacy becomes a symbol of change and compassion.
Gayton officially launches Joslin foundation, vows to help siblings
Gayton McKenzie has finally registered a foundation in Joslin Smithโs name, days after her mom was found guilty of kidnapping and trafficking.

Gayton McKenzie has officially registered his foundation in Joslin Smithโs name, just days after the Western High Court delivered a guilty verdict on the missing girlโs mother, Kelly Smith.
The Minister of Sport, Art and Culture condemned the Saldanha Bay woman, who has been convicted of being the โmastermindโ in her daughterโs disappearance.
He has vowed to financially assist her other minor children.
GAYTON MCKENZIE REGISTERS JOSLIN SMITH FOUNDATION
In a Facebook post, Gayton McKenzie weighed in on the verdict surrounding Joslin Smithโs trial against her mother and two co-accused, Jacquin โBoetaโ Appollis and Steveno van Rhyn. The Western Cape High Court found the trio guilty of kidnapping and child trafficking.
Despite being accused of โinterferingโ and possibly โsabotagingโ the case, the Minister has taken an active role in the search for Joslin. This includes his claims of befriending and โwining and diningโ the girlโs mother, of which he claimed โhad something to do with this caseโ.
He shared: โThe moment you proved to South Africa that you are guilty was when you refused to testify and assist the court. There is no mother on earth who gets accused of selling her child. And that mother refused to tell her side of the story.
Gayton vowed that he had officially registered a foundation in Joslin Smithโs name. The NGO would assist the families of missing children around South Africa.
He also vowed to continue the search for the little girl, saying, โWe will find Joslin, trust us.
โThe foundation will donate money next week to secure the schooling of the brother and sister of Joslin. We waited for this case to be finalised. This was never politics for us.โ
Of missing Joslin, he added: โThe search is starting now South Africaโ.
DONATING 100% OF HIS SALARY?
In July last year, Gayton McKenzie claimed that he was โin the final stagesโ of registering a foundation in Joslin Smithโs name.
A month earlier, Gayton revealed that he wouldย donate โ100%โ of his salaryย to the foundation, which he would establish to raise awareness of missing children in the country.
In November, Gayton gave an update on Facebook. He shared: โThe Joslin Smith Foundation does not yet exist because we want to make sure we get it right. And donโt just do it to please the members of other political parties who think this matter has anything to do with them.
โIt is a private, personal matter relating to my own funds. And what I choose to do with my own money.
โTo rush into the creation of any foundation would be a mistake.โ
DO YOU THINK GAYTON MCKENZIE WILL KEEP HIS PROMISE TO FIND JOSLIN SMITH?
