Unfortunately, their time together could not go beyond 6 months.

MT Sports Marketing & Management revealed that Pitso and his technical team gave Esteghlal time to resolve the matter but failed.
โIn good faith, Coach Pitso and his Technical team extended a 15-day deadline per the Fifa rules to allow the board to familiarise themselves with the situation and remedy the outstanding payments,โ the statement reads.
โHowever, the club did not resolve the issue within the deadlines they set for themselves. Coach Pitso Mosimane and his technical team are still owed more than two monthsโ salaries,โ the statement continues.
Despite giving his side of the story, some fans misunderstood Pitso Mosiname, and they trolled him on Instagram, giving him the nickname โMosimoneyโ.
WHAT THE FANS SAY
On a good day, celebrating his daughter Lelentleโs birthday, some Esteghlal fans expressed their disappointment, calling him Mosimoney.
The nickname says that Pitso was all after money and nothing else when he joined the club.
@goochahmad โWe Esteghlal fans believed in you, but you left our team because of money, we will never forgive youโ
@mitrarajabi โYou came for no money, did you go? How are you going to pour this money into yourself and your familyโs throats?โ

PITSOโS SUCCESS STORY
It all started in 2004 when Pitso lifted the SAA Super Eight Cup with South African side SuperSport United. The following year, he also won the Nedbank Cup before he moved to Mamelodi Sundowns.
At Sundowns, Pitso made his name among the best coaches in South Africa, winning 5 Premier Soccer League cups.
He also made his name on the international stage, winning the CAF Champions League 2016. He moved to Al Ahly and won many trophies, including the Egyptian Premier League in 2020.
As if that was not enough, Pitso went to Al-Ahli and won the Saudi First Division League in 2023 before Esteghlal FC.
Indeed, failing to win anything and leaving before his contract expired frustrated the fans. They wanted Pitso to stay and win with them.
