TV star Luthuli Dlamini has hit back at claims that he is homeless and living in a Randburg drug den.
The actor, known for playing Stan Nyathi in Scandal!, took to social media to set the record straight.
“I am fine. I promise I am not homeless. Be sure of your sources of information. Do not compromise your integrity for 15 cheap minutes of fame,” he said.
Dlamini was touched by fans who reached out to help him, including one who offered him a spare room to stay in.
The Zimbabwe-born actor has been a familiar face on South African TV screens for years. Besides Scandal!, he has acted in popular shows like The Coconuts, Generations, Isidingo and The Res.
He also hosted a show about green living, Greenline, on SABC3 in 2011.
Dlamini urged people to check their facts before spreading stories that could harm someone’s reputation.
