If you didn’t know already, there is a new couple on the block! Oscar winner Lupita Nyong’o revealed that she is dating Hugh Masekela’s son, Selema Masekela.

The couple caused a stir on social media when they made their relationship Instagram official.

They debuted their relationship by posing a video on their social media accounts taking part in a very popular social media trend. The video shows the couple standing side-by-side and snapping their fingers to the beat of “The King’s Affirmation” by Iniko and Reuel Williams, while they changed into various outfits.

“We just click! ? @selema #thisismylove #nuffsaid,” the Wakanda Forever star captioned the video.

Meanwhile, Selema also took to his Instagram to reveal his relationship with the Black Panther star by posting the same video. “Hearts are synched. My whole and actual love,” he wrote in the caption.

Lupita has always kept her dating life private. The duo denied dating rumours after they sparked in 2019, after they staged a make out scene in a photo booth at the InStyle & Warner Bros. Golden Globes afterparty in 2019. Lupita explained to Entertainment Tonight at the time. “I think it’s such a rare thing to find people you have good chemistry with and too for us to find each other as actors and get to work together, it makes the work richer that we truly enjoy each other’s company on and off screen.”
