King Misuzulu’s wife shows the elderly uthando
KING Misuzulu’s first wife, Queen Ntokozo “kaMayisela”, Zulu shows elderly people love.
The queen hosted a heartfelt Christmas celebration with the elderly to make less fortunate residents not feel forgotten this festive season.
The Christmas celebration was held at KwaNkomonye Royal Palace in Ulundi, KZN on Sunday, 15 December.
Queen kaMayisela also donated food parcels to the elderly and orphans in need around the king’s palace through her foundation, Kamaskolo Foundation.
She said the event was held with unwavering dedication and love and provided not just food parcels but was also a reminder that no one should feel alone or unloved during this season of giving.
“Today is not just about the food we shared but about the bonds we strengthened and the love we showed one another.
“Every elder, every orphan, every family member we touched today is a reminder that we’re stronger when we walk together, guided by the spirit of Ubuntu. This is the Zulu way, the foundation of our culture and I’m deeply humbled to have shared this day with our community,” she said.

The queen was accompanied by her sons, Prince Lwandile and Prince Mandulo.
She said their active involvement symbolised the royal family’s commitment to serving their people and their presence brought a sense of unity and pride to the gathering, embodying the leadership and care that are hallmarks of the Zulu monarchy.
The queen said that as they celebrated the beautiful day, it served as an inspiration to others.
“Look around you, find someone who may need a helping hand, a warm meal or simply the comfort of knowing that they aren’t alone. Let us all remember that the true spirit of Christmas lies not in receiving, but in giving and in doing so. We honour the essence of Ubuntu,” she said.
