Lihle Bliss is back with new music after a three-year break.
MUSICIAN Lihle Bliss is back with a bang.
After a three-year hiatus, the artist, whose real name is Nokwazi Zimande, returns with new music and a fresh perspective on life. She shared her journey with Daily Sun, explaining why she stepped back from the limelight.
“I needed to find myself because those days were quite hectic. I was in the fast lane, giving so much of myself. Taking a break helped me calm down and understand who I really am in the industry,” Lihle said.
During her time away, she not only gained clarity but also educated herself about the music business.
Lihle Bliss returns with a new EP.
“Initially, it was all about gigging without much education. Now, I’m more mature and alert. It’s vital for women to understand paperwork and business,” she said.
The break was also a creative hiatus. Lihle focused on writing new, spiritually inspired music.
“My new project is about my journey. I seldom share my story, so music became my voice,” she said.
Her new EP, Mfazi, showcases a different side of Lihle’s musical talents.
“This project is about the singing Lihle, not the ‘strata’ Lihle. It’s personal, and I want people to connect with it. But expect the strata sound to return in my next project,” she said.
