Malema shows soft side on date with Lasizwe

EFF leader Julius Malema showed his fun side during an entertaining YouTube date with social media star Lasizwe.

The tough-talking politician let his guard down as Lasizwe fired cheeky questions at him during Thursday’s show.

When Lasizwe asked if they’d meet again without cameras, Malema played along. “Yes we can and I’m paying and choosing a place,” he said.

He shared stories about his childhood activism: “I was political from when I was 10. I became a leader and used to organise strikes. Later, I became president of Cosas.”

But when Lasizwe suggested they start a YouTube channel together, Malema quickly drew the line: “Not me, I’m just a good friend.”

The EFF leader surprised viewers by admitting he’s not as tough as he seems.

“I cry a lot. On the outside, you have to look tough, but on the inside, I’m soft,” he said.

Malema keeps his fashion simple: “I like black. It’s easy—no need to match it with anything.”

He also talked about his big family: “I have more than 20 cousins. We all grew up together like brothers and spend every Christmas at my grandma’s house.”

On relationships, Malema was clear about who’s boss: “I’m the big spoon. I’m in charge, I’m the man.”

He even shared his views on money in relationships: “I believe in girlfriend allowance or spouse allowance, but finances are very personal.”
