Podcaster MacG is adding author to his title as his book Uncancelable: The Rise of MacG will soon hit the shelves.
The Podcast and Chill founder took to his Instagram account to announce the news by sharing the book’s cover.
He wrote: “We’re happy to announce the release of MacG’s Book. This book was created to not only celebrate the great milestone of the podcast and MacG’s journey, but it is also meant to give all upcoming broadcasters and podcasters a clear understanding of our network and its founder.”
In a recent episode of Podcast and Chill, MacG said he wasn’t too keen to write a book, sharing he had been toying with the idea since 2020.
“The crazy thing is God works in mysterious ways; there’s something that happened to me that I never shared with anyone; only my mom and Naledi knew, it’s in the book, but it was a near-death experience, and we dive into it in the book.”
The podcaster brought Nikolaos Kirkinis on the show, who he said pushed him to write the book.
Kirkinis said, “There’s a way to write books that can be appealing to people.” He explained that he had authored many books.
The book will be available in October.
Other celebs who’ve written books recently
TV and radio personality Rorisang Thandekiso launched her book The Disciple in September.
She told TshisaLIVE the book was inspired by 1 Timothy 4:12 from the Bible.
“I’m giving everybody an inside world of why I do things the way I do them and how your faith, your work with God, does not eliminate you from enjoying life,” she said.
“It’s been very difficult because I didn’t know I had to dig that deep. It is stuff I hadn’t thought about in years that are coming out. Struggles, pains, traumas and great victories that we forget.”
Musician and businesswoman Lady Du also penned a book titled Fame or Business, which was launched on 6 July.
She took to her Instagram account to announce the news, saying the book would be a good read.
“It’s research from 1912 to 2024 written by me and 2 of the best research authors in the country.
“We really worked soooo hard on it. Hope it helps teach you all the generations of music, how the world has transformed and how difficult it is to choose between fame and business.”
