Anele Mdoda has weighed in on alleged bullying at Sutherland High School.
A heartbroken mother took to TikTok to share videos of her daughter’s struggles at school, revealing she was allegedly being bullied. This caused her daughter to struggle to eat her lunch, she was isolated in classrooms and unable to use the toilet by herself.
The mother visited the school to address the issue and was told the matter would be investigated.
However, things took a turn when the mother allegedly received a call from the mother of the alleged bully, threatening to take her to court.

Anele Mdoda, who attended Sutherland High, expressed her support for the mother and daughter: “Regarding the bullying saga at Sutherland High School. Khanyi’s mom is meeting with the school at 9am. There seem to be some dodgy playing. For example, her phone all of a sudden can’t receive calls.
“It may be a pure coincidence, but if you are going call another parent at 11pm to threaten them, we can assume anything. Either way I have been inundated with calls and emails of other similar issues at my former high school. Let’s see.”
Somizi Mhlongo also offered his support, encouraging the mother to not be scared and promising to stand by her during this time.
“We are ready. You are not alone. I will withdraw my father’s stokvel money and my mother’s television career money, my daughter’s inheritance and then my money to make sure we are heads on. Don’t be scared. Don’t be shaken. We are watching. Call me and I am not coming alone. Game on,” he said.
