‘Big Zulu must brace himself because I’m dropping a diss track aimed at him again’ — Duncan
Rapper Duncan says he has recorded a diss track aimed at Big Zulu.
The gloves are off, as rapper Duncan is set to retaliate to Big Zulu’s diss track 200 Bars.
The South African hip-hop scene has again been set ablaze by Big Zulu’s latest diss track, which is aimed at artists such as Cassper Nyovest, Stogie T, Emtee, Zuluboy and Nota Baloyi.
In the song, Big Zulu refers to Duncan with explosive disses. Une Chiskop kodwa use Afro kunzima nok’faka iSingle is humorous and cutting. In this line Big Zulu plays on Duncan’s well-known shaved head (chiskop) while mocking the idea that despite his bald look, he’s metaphorically wearing an “Afro”, suggesting inconsistency or contradiction.
The phrase kunzima nok’faka iSingle jabs at Duncan’s music, implying he’s struggling to release a hit single. The punchline cleverly questions Duncan’s relevance in the music scene, blending humour with a biting critique of his musical output.
TshisaLIVE contacted Duncan, who said Big Zulu should brace himself because he’s going to be dropping a counter diss track, After Tears, aimed at him..
“That guy [Big Zulu] is whack and he’ll get to know me well, the gloves are off, and I won’t be holding back. I’m going all out, will deal with Rastafarian once and for all,” he said.
