Shebeshxt slammed for booze in car after tragic crash

Limpopo musician Shebeshxt has angered people after a video showed alcohol in his new car, just months after a crash that killed his young daughter.

The video shows Shebeshxt, whose real name is Lehlogonolo Chauke, with a bottle of alcohol near the driver’s seat. Other clips show his passengers drinking in the car.

Social media users are divided. While some defend him, saying he is just having fun, others are worried about drinking and driving, especially after his deadly accident in June.

The June crash on the R37 near Smelters Mine happened while Shebeshxt was driving to an ANC Siyanqoba Rally concert in Lebowakgomo.

His Volkswagen Polo hit a truck and rolled at around 10pm.

The accident claimed the life of his nine-year-old daughter. Shebeshxt injured his leg, while his partner, Kholofelo Moloto, and other passengers had minor injuries.
