Soccer Laduma reported on interest in Thabiso Sesane from Ligue 1’s relegation strugglers Montpellier.
The 24-year-old has become a pillar of the Pirates back four, appearing in all of their eight league encounters this term.
In many ways, he’s become the first name of their team sheet.
This consistency has earned him Bafana recognition and admirers abroad.
“They are looking for a young but experienced defender and now with Pirates playing in the CAF Champions League it is actually good for Thabiso,” the source revealed.
“It’s good because he is gaining the valuable experience that Montpellier are looking for.
It will work to his advantage.
Also with call-ups to Bafana Bafana, soon he will start playing and things will go well for him.”

Meanwhile, Pirates want to bolster their attacking options with prolific Hungry Lions striker Muzomuhle Khanyi linked.
The Sea Robbers are already spoiled for choice with Tshegofatso Mabasa and Evidence Makgopa doing a job-share for the number 9 role.
Zakhele Lepasa and Boitunmelo Radiopane are getting splinters in their backsides on the bench.

South African legend Benni McCarthy recently chatted about how close he got to getting the top Bucs job on Radio 2000.
