Orlando Pirates have secured their first signing for the 2025/26 season striking early for a deal that will excite their fans when officially announced!

Orlando Pirates have already completed their first capture of the 2025/26 season according to the latest reports.

Pirates didn’t sign a single player during the January transfer window, but that’s already changed heading to the next one.

It is no secret that Pirates will be looking to bolster their attack next season and targets have been mooted. It is thought that the technical team have looked at the wide areas as one department that needs strengthening. This season alone, they have seen new R10 million signing Gilberto flop and loaned back to Petro de Luanda. They also loaned out Katlego Otladisa to Sekhukhune United who want him permanently.

Pirates have also had to deal with the Monnapule Saleng saga that has taken away one more winger. They did gain one though in the emergence of youngster Mohau Nkota. But the management feel that it isn’t enough and have already gone into the market to reinforce that position early.

ORLANDO PIRATES LINKED WITH KABELO KGOSITSILE FROM BAROKA FC

According to KickOff.com Pirates have already wrapped up the early signing of Baroka FC winger Kabelo Kgositsile!

“It’s a done deal. (Kabelo) Kgositsile will be in the books of Orlando Pirates next season. There were no issues regarding the movement of the player as both clubs enjoy a good relationship and it was easy to finalise the deal.” Said a source to the same publication.

Kgositsile impressed Pirates during a recent game for Baroka against Pirates in the Nedbank Cup. Although the Limpopo side lost out on the day, they gave it a decent fight and the speedy winger stood out! That seems to have pushed the Buccaneers management to secure his services early.
