‘Sweet Home Alabama’ screenwriter exposed in sting operation for alleged inappropriate conduct with a 15-year-old boy.

C. Jay Cox, renowned for his work on films such as ‘Sweet Home Alabama’ and ‘Latter Days,’ has been implicated in a sting operation exposing his alleged inappropriate behavior with a minor.

The operation was orchestrated by streamer Vitaly, who lured Cox to a home under the pretense of meeting a 15-year-old boy.

Unaware he was being filmed, Cox was captured on video engaging in behavior that suggested intent to act inappropriately with the minor. The footage shows him dedicated to the situation until Vitaly and his team revealed the operation, confronting Cox and recording his reaction. Startled, Cox quickly dressed and left the scene upon realizing he had been exposed.

The video, shared on X (formerly Twitter) by user Shadow of Ezra, sparked outrage online. The caption read: “Hollywood screenwriter C. Jay Cox… has been exposed by streamer Vitaly in a shocking sting operation.” Social media erupted with furious reactions, condemning the screenwriter’s alleged actions.

Cox, born in 1962 in Nevada, rose to prominence with ‘Sweet Home Alabama,’ a box office success in 2002. He also directed ‘Latter Days,’ an acclaimed film exploring themes of love and faith. His career has included titles like ‘Kiss the Bride’ and ‘New in Town.’

The incident has cast a shadow over Cox’s career, raising concerns about accountability in the entertainment industry. Neither Cox nor his representatives have commented on the allegations.
