Simone Biles gives potential retirement hint as she begins to feel some physical fatigue
Biles is still just 27 years old, but her gymnastics future is up in the air.
Simone Biles has earned the right to go out on her own terms. It seems crazy to even think about given that she’s still just 27 years old, but Biles’ gymnastics future is up in the air at the moment.
She definitely didn’t show any signs of decline at the Summer Olympics in Paris, winning four total medals, three of which were gold.
But gymnastics is a brutal sport on the body, and most gymnasts retire in their mid-20s, with their best years coming while they are late teens.
The times have changed, and modern exercising and medicine allows gymnasts to compete at a high level for longer, but many have begun wondering if Biles will ride off into the sunset sooner than later.
As she weighs her options, Biles has been busy making appearances in the media, with her latest venture coming on the show “The Voice” with Snoop Dogg.

Simone Biles quits on pilates after just one session
With some of her spare time, she took the opportunity to do some pilates recently, but Biles may be starting to feel some of the physical effects of years of competing.
She shared her thoughts after doing one pilates session with a story on Instagram.
First time working out since the Olympics… This is what I wore to a pilates class that I will never be attending again! Y’all stay strong out there lmao. It was too hard.
While we shouldn’t make any big assumptions about her future after one workout, apparently her first since the Olympics several months ago, it is at least a little concerning that Biles feels that she wouldn’t be able to do another class.
Biles surely has plenty of ways other than pilates to stay active and keep her body fresh. It’s fair to wonder if her body can still hold up to rigorous exercises after so many years of competing at the highest level of gymnastics, but we can’t count her out just yet.
