Pearl Thusi is MAD! After minding her business and trying to embrace some peace and positivity through yoga, the actress has had enough of peopleโs judgment and unsolicited opinions.
In a recent video thatโs been making waves online, Pearl expressed her frustration and anger over the negativity sheโs been receiving โ and people are feeling her on this one.

It all started with Pearl, just doing her thing โ practicing yoga and listening to some music, when out of nowhere, a comment about her potentially becoming a sangoma (a traditional healer) completely pissed her off.
Pearl’s reaction? She went off in a fiery video, explaining how tired she is of people constantly trying to control her life.
“I really don’t understand where people find the negativity to just say dumb things,” Pearl began, her frustration clearly bubbling over.
She had been focusing on her well-being, indulging in some self-care and yoga, when she saw a comment telling her that she โbetter not become a sangoma.”
“You better not become a sangoma!” the comment read, and Pearl had absolutely had enough.
“What if I do?!” she shot back, visibly annoyed.
“What if I become a sangoma? What is it to you?”
For Pearl, the comment was more than just a simple judgment.

It was another instance of people trying to dictate what she could and couldnโt do with her life.
She wasnโt planning on becoming a sangoma, but the audacity of people to try and box her in, or tell her what she can and canโt do, set her off.
“Why is it that black people think they can tell you what you can and can’t do with your life?” Pearl continued, her voice shaking with anger.
Sheโs been through enough, and sheโs fed up with how people are always quick to jump to conclusions or impose their limited views on others.
โItโs 2025! Itโs almost over, and people are still acting like this.
If I want to be a frog, whatโs it to you? I wish I could be a street pole and just go back to your childhood to fix all the nonsense,โ Pearl ranted, letting off steam.
She didnโt hold back, asking what would happen if she decided to become a tree โ would people stop her from doing that too? It was an exaggeration, but her point was crystal clear: why do people feel the need to criticize others for living their own lives, in their own way?
Her message wasnโt just about one comment, but the constant judgment sheโs been receiving over the years.
Pearl acknowledged that while she may have been outspoken and controversial at times, it didnโt give others the right to dictate her path or belittle her choices.
“Guys, why can’t I just be peaceful? I can’t even be a shakraan (a term for a practitioner of traditional medicine) in peace!” Pearl added.
It wasnโt just about yoga or spirituality โ it was about the constant criticism she faced for simply existing in the public eye.
Pearl then got into something more personal.
She spoke about how, in the past, she had taken time off from social media to work on herself and deal with mental health issues, including depression.

It was a tough period for her, but now she was back, trying to rebuild her life.
And here she was, trying to heal, get stronger, and live her best life โ only to be met with more judgment.
One comment about her becoming a sangoma hit a nerve, and Pearl couldn’t help but express her anger.
“Can you imagine?” she exclaimed.
“Iโm just doing my yoga, minding my own business, and someone has to comment that I shouldnโt become a sangoma.
Itโs insane! How is that okay?โ
Her frustration came from a place of exhaustion.
For years, Pearl has faced public criticism, and yet, every time she tried to do something for herself, whether it was working on her mental health or simply practicing yoga, there would always be someone ready to tear her down.
“I’m not planning to be a sangoma,” she clarified, visibly irritated by the assumption.
“Iโm just tired of the negativity.
Iโm trying to be peaceful, and yet people canโt mind their business for five minutes.”
She also pointed out how she, a strong and outspoken woman, was often scrutinized for speaking her truth.
Pearl admitted she didnโt sugarcoat things โ and thatโs what got her into trouble.
But at the end of the day, being true to herself was more important than staying silent to please others.
Despite the animosity she faced, Pearl didnโt let the negativity stop her from speaking out.
It was clear that this wasnโt just about yoga or the sangoma comment โ it was a cry for people to stop being so quick to judge others.
Pearlโs message was one of empowerment: you do you, and stop letting others try to control your destiny.

Social media has always been a double-edged sword for public figures like Pearl.
While fame brings benefits like wealth and visibility, it also comes with the constant scrutiny of others, ready to tear apart every action.
Pearl recognized this reality, but that didnโt make it any easier to swallow.
โItโs sad,โ she said.
โPeople canโt even enjoy their own peace without being bombarded by opinions and negativity.
But Iโm not letting them break me.
Iโm just tired of being judged all the time for everything I do.โ
In a world where people feel entitled to an opinion on everyone elseโs life, Pearlโs frustration is palpable.
She ended her rant on a note of hope, saying that despite all the criticism, she was determined to continue on her path โ doing her yoga, focusing on her mental health, and living her life on her own terms.
