King Mswati III of Eswatini is a top notable official who is highly recognized all over the world. He is loved and appreciated by many and is entitled to numerous wives and children, who are beautiful and highly respected.
Unfortunately, like any other public figure, he has faced a lot of criticism on social media, especially recently when he was accused of laying his hands on one of his wives, who was rushed to a hospital in South Africa.
A South African doctor kept asking why many foreigners kept entering their hospitals and their country when there are so many South Africans who are unable to get good and equitable medical facilities.
In today’s video, we will be looking at King Mswati’s Portuguese wife and her handsome son, and why many people have insulted, blasted, and cursed him on social media ever since their pictures came up on this media platform.

The King has a total of 14 wives. The first two were ceremonial brides chosen for him, and the remaining 12 wives were chosen by the king himself.
It is essential for the king of Swaziland to wed women from a range of Swaziland clans to forge stronger ties with the numerous regions that make up the country of Swaziland. This tradition suggests that the monarch ought to have a great number of spouses to maintain their power.
One of his wives, also known as LaMagongo, was the king’s ninth wife and was sometimes referred to by both names. She will be the primary center of attention and discussion today. King Mswati caught up with a lot of social media attention and controversy in the past few months.
He was accused by some of having a hand in claiming the life of his beautiful daughter, simply because of political reasons that made him sweat and have so much negative attention on social media.
Just like a month or two after all of this negative field around his name, there was still another accusation whereby he was being accused, allegedly, of raising his hand and beating one of his wives, who was hastily rushed to a hospital in South Africa.
Now, one of his Portuguese wives’ pictures with the child have surfaced on social media, and several people kept asking why he decided to get married to this woman, saying that this is definitely a very wrong thing to do.
Couldn’t he actually choose another woman within the clan? Why decide to go far, very far out of the clan, to get married to somebody who is definitely going to bring more and more problems?
Several people in the Swatini Kingdom definitely don’t like the idea of him getting married to a woman out of their clan, saying they have so many beautiful ladies; he could choose any of them to make as a bride.
Why go that far? It is a disrespect to their culture because you barely see a Portuguese man who is definitely going to come and get married to a South African lady, especially a Portuguese man of honor, which is regarded with so much high esteem, love, and appreciation by the appropriate relation.
Following that, in the year 2004, she gave birth to her one and only kid, who was named Prince Marshall. In contrast to the other queens, the queen is the type of person who would rather remain in the background in comparison to the large online photo collections held by the others.
She barely has a few images to her name, even on the internet. In spite of this, her handsome son has been beaming with pride as he posts pictures of her on social media accounts and shares a very much incredible passion about his mother.
In 2019, she was a guest at the inauguration of President Seruma Pulsa, which took place in 2019. She attended the civil money with her husband. On recent occasions, he has been insulted and blasted for getting married to a Portuguese woman when there are so many beautiful Eswatini women around.
In conclusion, King Mswati’s decision to marry a Portuguese woman has sparked controversy and criticism within his kingdom. While he is entitled to his choices as a monarch, the public’s reaction reflects the deep-seated cultural and traditional values that are held in high regard in Eswatini.
The debate over his personal life highlights the complex interplay between modernity and tradition in the African royal context.
