The first wife, Queen LaMbula, is 55 years old or younger. King Mswati III was given two ritual wives at the beginning of his reign. LaMbula, the King’s first wife, is believed to be 55 years old or younger, as the King himself is 56 years old in 2024. LaMbula has a degree in Psychology and Law and has given birth to two sons and princes for the King.

The second wife, Queen Lozile, is also 55 years old. She was one of the two ritual wives given to King Mswati III at the beginning of his reign.

Queen Lozile turned 55 years old in 2024, and her birthday pictures were shared on Instagram. Apart from living a royal life, Queen Lozile is the United Nations Development Program Goodwill Ambassador. She has given birth to four sons who are princes for the King.

The third wife, Queen LaMaka, is 35 years old. Her birth name is Siphelele Mlambo, and she is the same age as the previous two wives, being 35 years old as of 2024. LaMaka was the first wife to be personally chosen by King Mswati III in 1986.

She has given birth to three children: two sons and one daughter. In 2001, she graduated with an LLB from the University of Swaziland and a degree in graphic design from Limkokwing University in 2017. LaMaka is involved in the Swazi Royal initiative to combat AIDS.

The fourth wife, Queen Langazza, is 54 years old. She is the King’s fourth wife, and her birth name is Carol Janine. Queen Langazza is the Patron of the World Organization Hospice at Home, previously headed by Diana, Princess of Wales. In 2024, Queen Langazza turned 54 years old. She has given birth to four daughters for King Mswati III.

The fifth wife, Kasane Waller, is 50 years old. Kasane Waller was the fifth wife to be married by King Mswati III. Before she left for South Africa in 2004, she was known as Queen LaRua.

She decided to flee from King Mswati III in 2004 when she was 30 years old. Today, she is believed to be hiding in South Africa.

The sixth wife, Delisa Mangena, is also 50 years old. Another wife to flee from the King was Delisa Mangena, who also fled in 2004 after having an affair. The seventh wife, Queen LaMasango, died in 2018 at the age of 37. She was the seventh wife to be married by the King of Eswatini. Her birth name was Stena Nang. She died on April 6, 2018, allegedly having committed suicide, which was never confirmed.

At the time of her death, she had been at her sister’s funeral a week earlier, apparently without the King’s consent. Her profession was that of a painter. The late Queen gave birth to two daughters for the King.

The eighth wife, Queen LaJeja, aged 45 years old, was born as Angel Amine and was married as the eighth wife of the King of Eswatini in May 2012.

She left the Royal compound but returned to the Eswatini Royal household in 2018 by taking part in the Umhlanga Reed Dance and was also later seen at the 2018 World Trade Fair alongside the King’s 10th wife, LaMangatha, and ritual wife, LaMaseille. She is 45 years old in 2024 and has given birth to one daughter.

The ninth wife, Queen LaHong, is 39 years old. She is the niece of Chief Mbogo Gasana Faras of Moxen Nons. LaHong was married to King Mswati III as his ninth wife.

She is away from the spotlight unlike the other wives but notably attended the inauguration of South Africa’s 50th democratic elected president, Cyril Ramaphosa, in the country’s capital, Pretoria, at the Loftus Versfeld Stadium alongside the King on May 25, 2019. She is 39 years old as of 2024 and has given birth to one son for the King.

The 10th wife, Queen LaMangatha, is 40 years old. Zena Sarah Matango was married to King Mswati III in 2002 as his 10th wife. She was born in 1984 and is therefore 40 years old as of 2024. She has given birth to two children: a son and a daughter for the King.

The 11th wife, Connie Titos, is 43 years old. In May 2005, King Mswati III married Noliqa Ndwandwe Titos as his 11th wife. Unfortunately, she died from skin cancer at the age of 31 in 2019. She had given birth to two daughters and one son before she passed away.

The 13th wife, Queen LaNmu, is 36 years old. In 2007, the King married another wife who became his 18th wife. She is 36 years old this year. Her birth name before she became Queen LaNmu is King Dylan Cambu. She was chosen to be the King’s wife at the age of 17 in 2005. She has given birth to five daughters and a son for the King.

The 16th wife, Queen Nangisa Zuma, in 2024, King Mswati III betrothed Jacob Zuma’s daughter, Nangisa Zuma, to be his 16th wife on the day of the Reed Dance. Nangisa was 21 years old. We are yet to witness a marriage ceremony of the new Queen in the coming months or years.
