Chukwuka disclosed that he was assaulted by a group of men who mistakenly believed he was the father of Naira Marley, a figure who has been accused by some of being involved in Mohbad’s untimely death.
In a recent interview , Chukwuka recounted the incident, explaining that it took place while he was on a movie set in Ikorodu, Lagos State.
“I understood from the beginning that blaming Naira Marley for the death of Mohbad was an attack on his personality.
But because it was finally their chance, some people wanted to take advantage of the situation to become famous,” he said.
The actor revealed that the attackers confronted him, accusing him of being responsible for Mohbad’s death.
“A group of men attacked me on a film set in Ikorodu, claiming that my son was responsible for Mohbad’s death,” Chukwuka explained.
He clarified that he was not Naira Marley’s father and hails from Delta State, while Naira Marley is from Abeokuta in Ogun State.
Despite the confusion, Chukwuka remains resolute and emphasized that the incident was a case of mistaken identity amid the heightened tensions surrounding Mohbad’s death.
